Meditation by need

Meditation for Stress

Calm the body, soften pressure, and return to one steady breath.

Why this meditation helps

Stress often asks the mind to solve everything at once. Meditation gives the nervous system a simpler signal: this moment can be met one breath at a time.

A simple practice

Settle your body. Let the eyes soften. Take one breath in through the nose and one longer breath out. Say quietly: “I can meet this moment with steadiness.”

For the next few minutes, place attention on the breath leaving the body. When thoughts arrive, do not argue with them. Notice, soften, and return.

End by asking: What is the kindest next step?

Practices to explore

  • Shoulders drop meditation
  • 4-6 breathing
  • Workday reset
  • Quiet room practice

Use it daily

For best results, practise briefly and consistently. One sincere minute each day is better than waiting for perfect conditions.
